Renewing the premise (and promise) expressed in its name, Atelier reconfirms its nature as a high-end collection marked by an important tradition, while maintaining its innovative design dedicated to the experimental tailoring of this collection.
Distributed in a selected range of stores (only 60 boutiques around the world), this exclusive collection includes sophisticated yet easy pieces made only from the most precious materials. It is designed with a tailored value that expresses itself through great practicality of use. With this in mind, the inspirations for each season are always the result of careful attention to the new demands of contemporary life styles.
In particular, Fall/Winter 2012 specifically focuses on the theme of travel, understood however not in terms of any abstract or literary interpretation, but rather as a habitual circumstance in the life of today’s woman. Against the backdrop of a priority lounge in a large international airport, interpreted by Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in the Film The V.I.P.s, here are 10 precious first class coats.
Max Mara Atelier coats favour luxurious fabrics including double face cashmere, melton and pure camel hair. They are produced in a palette shaded with different and distinct achromatic colours (pale grey, camel, steel grey and black).
